Community Involvement

Citizens Bank proudly supports local organizations in the communities of which it is a part.  Every year, for over 10 years, Citizens Bank has participated in charity events to raise money for local organizations.

Most recently, Citizens Bank of Abilene provided a smoked barbecue lunch for the large crowd of event participants, volunteers, and beneficiaries at Disability Resources Inc's Sporting Clays Classic.  Citizens Bank president, Lawrence Bertsch, and fellow Citizens Bank officers and employees cooked up 64 racks of ribs, 24 briskets, and 50 pounds of sausage for the crowd.  Disability Resource Inc's residents helped serve the food providing an opportunity for Citizens Bank volunteers to meet and work with the event's beneficiaries.
